Logistics/Warehouse Manager

Our client, a fast growing manufacturer is seeking a Logistics Manager for their distribution center located in Queens. Their showroom and offices are located in Manhattan. This is a direct hire/immediate position! The ideal candidate has prior experience in the tile installation or construction industry. The successful candidate should also be process driven with an excellent overview and knowledge of work flows, process management and transactional efficiency.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: managing their shop work flow, managing day to day operations of the warehouse, creating and maintaining process and work flow design from start to finish of projects, coordinating delivery schedules, preparing installation team, controlling inventory, etc.

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse/delivery management exp. & ability to drive a hi-lo forklift
- Knowledge of borough traffic patterns & commercial routes required
- Excellent organizational, time management, analytical and planning skills required
- Excellent communication skills, verbal & written
- Advanced proficiency with MS Word & Excel
- Fluency in Spanish a +

Annual salary: $50,000 - $60,000 contingent upon prior experience
