Reports To: Retail Store Manager

Position Summary: The right individual will assist the Store Manager with the day-to-day operations of the store, implement strategies to drive store sales and increase profitability, and provide Remarkable! customer service, ensure customer needs are met and service is quick and efficient, and maintain store appearance and product presentation to company standards. Primary Responsibilities:
*Open and close store as scheduled
*Develop and convey a working knowledge of brand products
*Ensure checkout area is well stocked with supplies
*Assist in the processing of shipments, including unloading, counting merchandise, ticketing, product placement and storage
*Operate all ware-handling equipment as directed
*Supervise shift to ensure POGs and directives are followed
*Support promotional activity and add-on sales opportunities
*Welcome customers by greeting them and offering them assistance
*Serve customers by helping them select products
*Advise customers by providing information on products
*Help customer make selections by building customer confidence
*Offer suggestions and opinions on in-store products
*Documents sale by creating or updating customer profile records
*Perform all Point-of-Sale transactions, including cash register and phone system
*Process special orders for customers, including UPS
*Wrap and bag customer purchases
*Keep clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest
*Perform close-out procedures and make bank deposit as necessary
*Insure confidentiality of company operating procedures, salary structure, and operating margins
*Notify supervisor of problems when they occur
*Complete other tasks as assigned
