Manager, Certification and Testing #P135628 - Full-time

Reporting to the Director, Ops Infrastructure Testing, the Manager, Certification and Testing will manage of a team of analysts responsible for certifying and re-certifying ~300 clients. This team will build, maintain, and execute requirements and test strategy for real-time authorization applications and processor interfaces with external clients, Discover, Diners Club International, MasterCard, Visa, NYCE, Star and many other regional and global networks. The team is also responsible for client consultation, test tool qualification and technical support for Implementation Services. This manager will build vendor business relationships for ISO test tool qualification and support the vendors in ongoing business activities.

Detailed Job Responsibilities:
• Develop certification and testing strategy for all new network products and services to prove business requirements for PULSE Network interfaces. Deploy certification and testing plans within the PULSE environment while proving interoperability of products within Payment Services.
• Govern the development and maintenance of the Environmental Database for the FIS Connex application in support of business and technology projects; including system delivery, system analysis, design, coding and build process management, application of solutions that mitigate error, and status reporting. Looks for creative ways to improve the management of the FIS Database.
• Create development plans and deploy strategies to build each team member as a well-rounded and well versed subject matter expert of PULSE products, services, and gateway relationships.
• Manage certification team audit controls with business and technology groups to ensure that all transaction simulation tools are compliant with SOX and PCI requirements. Perform period internal team review of audit controls.
• Host cross departmental meetings with Managers across the organization to improve customer services to both internal and external clients regarding certification and testing.
• Establish and maintain business relationships with seven to ten vendors for ISO 8583 Test Tool Qualification. Establish innovative business processes for vendor relationships that leverages the industry relationships that have been created.
• The manager will report to the Director of Operations Infrastructure and Testing receiving very general guidance with respect to overall objectives; usually exercising independent discretion and judgment regarding significant matters.
• Promote a risk-aware culture, ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.

Qualifications

• Advanced problem solving skill set is required to manage through issues that will occur during the course of business for our client base.
• General knowledge and experience in the Microsoft Office suite of business products.
• Business professional experience and experience in financial services. Working experience of technical duties regarding electronic funds transfer environments
• Experience with the following applications: MS Visio, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, Adobe Acrobat, Lexcel Simulator Tools, ISO 8583 Specifications, FIS Connex Advantage switch application
