About this job
This seasonal position is responsible for housekeeping duties at the Hersheypark Camping Resort.
The hourly pay rate for this position starts at $9.00.
Job Functions:
- Cleaning of cabins, restrooms, campsites, playground, and group areas
- Supervising the housekeeping staff of the day operations and assigning daily job duties.
- Ordering and inventory supplies
- Inspecting cabins and restrooms
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
Additional Qualifications:
- Proven employee/guest relations, and organization skills.
- Professional image representative of property image.
- Ability to give directions for the property.
- Capable of working alone and being a self-starter.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities at once.
- Ability to understand instructions, both written and verbal.
Working Conditions:
- Physical requirements include complete mobility and good physical conditioning, good hearing and vision, and ability to tolerate heat.
- Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals.
- Schedule varies according to operational needs, but includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
