  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, 3 years related experience, or combination of education and experience   
  • Self-motivated, results oriented, and ability to work with little direction
  • Strong strategic planning skills and proven ability to identify areas of need and develop innovative solutions
  • Ability to deliver training presentations and respond to questions from large groups 
  • The ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals and/or technical procedures
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with MS Office required

Strategic Account Managers will ensure proper training related to DISH Network products and programming to Telco Partners. Functions as a liaison to Alliance Partner retail sales staff in a particular DMA, or DMA’s. Represents DISH Network and our partners at sales events.  Measures and evaluates proper sales practices through ongoing quality assurance efforts with assigned Telco partners.   Additional responsibilities include:

 

Other duties include:

  • Develop customer strategies and execute best practices for all assigned accounts
  • Actively engage with partner leadership to set strategic direction and deliver on predetermined goals
  • Engage in Quality Assurance at all Telco Partner Call Centers and retail locations and provide management continual feedback with regards to program effectiveness and suggest enhancements
  • Detailed and accurate tracking of business activities
  • Provide account support including: new hire training, up-training, sales blitzes, side by side selling and other duties as assigned by manager
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of DISH Network and the cable/satellite industry, as well as maintaining knowledge of the local competition, demographics, products, programs, installation, service, and pricing
  • Other duties as required
