Line Leads

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Line Lead for a local manufacturing food plant.

Job Duties and Requirements:

1.Direct team members on your line and watch to make sure they re doing their job correctly. Review people consistently and make changes if needed. Also, create line ups for every rotation and/or different cake. Make a clean up list so that everyone knows their clean up jobs.
2.Set belt speeds and continuously evaluate and make any adjustments needed. Ex. Turn belt speed up if you have gaps, down if people can t keep up.
3.Directs line operators and line workers to perform changeovers, and adjust all finishing department equipment needed, or call maintenance if needed.
4.complete all paperwork needed throughout shift. Ex. Master Sheet, downtime recorded, lot numbers, damage papers, label check off papers, and packer check off papers.
5.Follow and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices by adhering to company policy and keeping work areas and equipment neat and clean on an ongoing basis.
6.Monitor equipment performance and report damaged or faulty equipment to maintenance or supervisor.
7.Inspect quality of product constantly. Check packaging, labels, and cartons to ensure everything is correct according to specs, and report to supervisor or QA if not meeting spec qualifications.
8.Solve problems and always think ahead. Direct people in advance, but be able to think quickly for unexpected situations.
9.Monitor and record product component weights, total weights, metal detector checks, and label checks.
10.communicate constantly with baking lead and supervisor.
11.Train and evaluate employees when needed and continually monitor employees hours.

Pay Rate: $16-18 / Hour, DOE

Shift Times Vary: Must be flexible.
