The Senior Manger of Benefits responsible for the development and design of the benefits strategy for Sprouts Farmers Market. The Senior Manager will join a team-oriented and employee centric department that will leverage their benefits expertise and leadership to manage multiple teams. This individual will have responsibility for upholding the benefits philosophy and sustain our high performing culture that attracts, motivates, retains and rewards team members.

Essential Functions

-       Leading the benefits function, collaborating with senior management to evaluate and create the strategic direction, design concepts and build support for fact/data driven rationale for implementation

-       Effectively collaborates with other departments such as Compensation, Finance, Tax, Legal and IT to ensure execution of the benefit programs

-       Directs the ongoing evaluation of programs and oversees the design of improvements as needed

-       Manages 401(k) program and acts as a liaison with historical programs for employees

-       Monitors trends and introduces market best practices for programs to company

-       Reporting on program utilization, costs, effectiveness and recommends changes

-       Analyzes executive pay practices to ensure competitiveness among industry peer group, internal equity amongst executives and achieves best practices in attracting, retaining and rewarding key executives

-       Experience with design, planning and administration of fully insured health plans, group life insurance programs, and retirement programs including 401(k), voluntary benefits and other employee/retiree benefit programs required for this role

-       Design a rewards and recognition program aligned with the culture that drives the desired behaviors

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

-       Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in benefits

-       Master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience

-       Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience

-       Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or CBP preferred

-       Ability to consult with employees at all organizational levels and lead significant changes

-       Proficient in Microsoft Office; expert in Microsoft Excel
