Requirements * Excellent writing and communication skills * Detailed oriented * Strong organizational and analytical skills * Self-starter/independent thinker * Compliance auditing experience * Experience with Blue Works Live process documentation * LEAN or Six-sigma certification preferred

Notes from the manager:

  • Audit type of function - compliance experience ideally
  • Skill set is process documentation - written and verbal - detail orientation, analytical skills
  • Someone that has experience working with Blue Works Live - product we are using internally for process documentation
  • Another preferred skill set - Lean/Six Sigma certifications - green or black belt
  • Controls as well
  • Documentation - have a large number of business processes and procedures that need to be updated - they identified areas that need clarification and where the controls may not be adequate - lean/six sigma
  • Creating some new documentation and updating existing documentation
  • Want processes to be documented and followed - meeting with stakeholders to do this investigation and then get more detail in the controls/processes
  • Want to review our processes through Lean/Six Sigma - process improvement - efficiency
  • Preferred someone with some experience with the blue works process documentation tool
  • 3-5 or more years of experience - not junior
  • Bachelors is preferred with 5 years of experience ideally - degree is NOT required but nice to have
  • BA with blue works without Six Sigma certification - would look at that candidate - would want them to be familiar with six sigma and has followed some of this
  • Audit/control documentation vs six sigma - business control/business process audit/review documentation
  • Secondary would be the Lean
  • SOX people - personally not concerned - could be SOX person that could do this job - more the mentality of having controls in place regardless
  • Blueworks vs Visio - a lot different - it creates flows within it - more automated - it creates flows with you based on documentation - can interpret visio flows that exist - more of a standard language to share - can access it and the detail steps within - can be injected in business process automation
  • Want to house existing in blue works live and create new flows in blueworks live - maintaining flow quality - going through visio and ms office word documents to do samples and go through the existing flows to then clean up and improve them - 2 step activity
  • We also have new automation coming - will trigger the sun setting of existing processes etc.
  • Want to take a lot of things such as a paper enrollment form and do it online instead of manual paper - this changes the processes/work of people internally so those are the processes this person will help refine
  • B2B payments experience - this is a nice to have - not a requirement at all - extra bonus
  • Previous Ariba experience - could be relevant
  • Will work with IT teams marketing teams and operations teams as well - will liaise and support them as well
  • Some people have some regulatory/compliance standard operating procedures as well
  • New group - collaborative team
  • Commercial payments - b2b payments experience would be a plus
  • Blueworks live - not an absolute requirement - more want a good person with the skills above rather than the technical skills
  • Day to day success measurement - it will come down to having a timeline of events and activities - documentation review etc. - going through the procedure set we have and setting milestones - will measure based on the work and the progress made on these things - we have a good estimate of timelines for people to get through these processes etc. - we will lay that out by dates - we also have system enhancements coming for the program so we have a timeline of when we will have had to go through the procedures we have today to find gaps etc. and get new procedures to feed in to training etc. - we have timelines around that
