Positions in this function include those responsible for designing/developing,
programming, maintaining and publishing operational reports. Provides
operational analysis utilized for decision making. May make recommendations
based on the analysis, and provide explanations for reporting results as
needed. May be done for internal operational purposes as well as for customers.
Primary Responsibilities:
Creating and running Queries to retrieve appropriate Data Sets.
Presentation of findings through Ad Hoc and standardized reports as requested.
Create and distribute Ad Hoc Reporting to customers.- Respond
to data requests with minimal supervision and within customer timeframes. - Uses MS Excel daily for formatting, sorting, filtering and subtotaling.
- Understanding and utilization of query design software such as Microsoft
Access. - Knowledge of medical insurance and/or medical claims terminology helpful.
- Will use SQL programming language over time.
- Ability to interact and communicate with staff across multiple lines of
business and disciplines along with the ability to work with all levels within
the organization.. - Must be a self-starter, deadline driven and demonstrate a high level of
accuracy. - Review Ad Hoc Reporting requests to determine if a standard reporting solution is
appropriate.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED.
1+ year experience with Microsoft Excel (knowledge of formatting, sorting,
filtering and subtotaling).
1+ year experience with Reporting.- 1+
year experience with Microsoft Access. - Understanding
and utilization of Query Design Software such as Microsoft Access or Microsoft
SQL Server Management Studio. - Ability
to create queries using interface and understanding of relational databases. - SQL experience.
- Data
Analysis experience. - Ability
to interact and communicate with staff across multiple lines of business and
disciplines along with the ability to work with all levels within the
organization. - Must
be a self-starter, deadline driven and demonstrate a high level of accuracy. - Knowledge
of Medical Insurance and/or Medical Claims terminology. - Knowledge
of Business Objects Crystal Report. - Bachelor's Degree.
