RN Registrar - Trauma Services - FT Days

Research Medical Center has completed more than $120 million in capital improvements, including new lobby and admitting areas, renovated and expanded Cancer Center and Women’s Care Unit, construction of all private patient rooms and doubling the Emergency Department.

Research Medical Center is currently looking for a RN Trauma Registrar .

Responsibilities:

The Trauma Registrar, under the direction of the

Trauma Program Manager and Trauma Program Medical Director, is responsible for

abstracting information from identified trauma medical records as required to

complete the trauma registry and facilitate performance improvement

activities. This includes maintaining

the integrity and confidentiality of the registry, verification and updating of

information compiled, and preparing reports as requested.

Qualifications:

Associate’s Degree in Nursing required. Current

Missouri RN licensure and BCLS required.

Demonstrates working knowledge of computers, data entry, procedures and

medical terminology. Able to type 40

words per minute. Able to solve basic

mathematical problems, including percentages and addition. Experience: 1 year of related experience/job training

(critical care experience preferred).
