Maintenance Engineer - PRN
Responsibilities:
Operates and maintains central plant, HVAC equipment and systems throughout the facility.
Performs operating, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance tasks to equipment including but not limited to: Boilers, centrifugal and reciprocating water chillers, electrical distribution systems, Emergency power generators, HVAC equipment including a variety of air handling systems (dual duct, terminal reheat, multi-zone, VAV, return, and exhaust) pumping systems, electrical motors and motor control, plumbing, refrigeration, water treatment, Fire Alarm and suppression, Pneumatic/electronic control systems, and energy management systems.
May perform snow removal activities. Assists in the completion of project work including new equipment installation, existing equipment relocation or modification, and minor construction and renovation work, and other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education: Technical school courses in related fields preferred .
Licensure/Certifications: CFC Certification required. Class "A" Operating Engineers License Highly Preferred. Requires current driver’s license and maintain satisfactory MVR to drive company vehicle. Annually satisfactorily complete driver/safety training. Security Certificate of Registration .
Experience: A minimum of three years experience, preferably in a health care environment. Experience using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and testing and metering equipment required.
