Long Term Maintenance Technician Opening (Tualatin, OR)

Qualifications:
* 1 year experience in building/mechanical equipment maintenance and repair or educational/technical school equivalent
* High School Diploma/GED
* Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record
* Able to complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists on building and machinery equipment
* Able to work independently with minimal supervision
* Good communication, organization and problem solving skills
* Excellent customer service skills
* Able to follow verbal and written instructions
* Able to walk and stand for long periods of time as well as work in diverse environmental conditions
* Experience operating computerized controls and monitoring mechanical equipment
* Electrical experience (bending conduit, 480/3 phase, ladder logic, PLC, offsets, etc.)
* Alarm circuit / brake switch / press brake / CNC experience
* Furnace / HVAC experience
* Welding / plumbing experience
* Pneumatic / hydraulic pump operation and repair knowledge
* Lock out - tag out / EITI experience
* Preference will be given to applicants who have an LME electrician's license

Responsibilities:
* Perform minor and major repair of campus buildings and equipment
* Perform preventative maintenance services on forklifts and light trucks
* Perform preventative maintenance procedures on buildings and machinery
* Lift, load and carry up to 50 lbs.
* Maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures
* Clean and inspect machinery as required
* Calibrate and repair pneumatic systems
* Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists on building equipment
* Operate a computer which controls and monitors mechanical equipment and utility systems
* Install electrical wiring and equipment
* Repair electrical equipment, control circuits, electrical switches and refrigeration equipment
* Repair electrical locks and control panels for building security
