About this job
We are currently looking for qualified healthcare specialists to work in our inbound call center for healthcare claims and service calls. A qualified candidate will have previous call center experience, but we are open to other medical experience or education.
Job Duties
- Assist doctors' offices, hospitals, etc with getting customers approved for MRI, CT, Radiation and therapy scans.
- Assist with getting people scheduled for their appointments at the proper facilities.
- Conduct administrative intake and scripted clinical intake of calls for clinical review
- Provide quality customer service through interaction with providers, administrative staff and others
- Collect and enter confidential information ensuring the highest level of confidentiality in all areas
- Escalate all calls to a Clinical Reviewer or Supervisor per guidelines
- Maintain written documentation according to documentation policy
- Provide ongoing telephonic support to providers and office staff related to the Clinical Review process
- Assist in the orientation and training of new Client Service Representatives in department procedures, protocols, and administrative tasks
- Provide administrative support to the Clinical Review Department
- Carry out other projects and responsibilities as assigned
- Participate and understand scope of responsibility pertaining to ongoing QI Projects
- Maintain acceptable levels of performance for all KPIs
