Job overview

Valet Attendant is responsible for: enthusiastically greeting arriving and departing guests; parking and retrieving guest vehicles in a safe, timely, courteous manner; and providing luggage assistance for guests whenever necessary.

What you will be doing

• Assist in-coming and out-going guests from vehicles
• Park and retrieve guest vehicles
• Execute prompt and courteous service
• Deliver guest account folios and newspapers
• Porter luggage and guest articles
• Obey traffic laws

Requirements

• Less than 3 moving violations in past five years.
• No DUI convictions
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and associates
• Read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles
• At least five years driving experience
• Ability to operate computer systems as required within the hotel.
• Very good knowledge of Portland and vicinity.
• Lifting-occasionally 100 lbs, frequently 40 lbs, reach, handle, talk, hear, see, speak, run, climb, twist, crouch.
