What you will be doing
- Maintain housekeeping and customer service standards.
- Ensure that towels, sheets and linens are cleaned, and ironed properly.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the laundry room.
- Load, store, fold, sort linen and equipment according to company standards.
Requirements
- The ability to lift, bend, move heavy equipment and remain on one's feet for extended periods of time.
- Lifting/Carrying – average weight frequently 25 lbs., occasionally 50 lbs, reach, handle, pushing/pulling average weight occasionally 100 lbs., maximum weight 105 lbs., see.
- Ability to communicate effectively with public and other associates.
- Able to stand the entire eight hour shift on tile or cement and keep up with the pace of the department.
- No associate will pose a direct threat to the health / safety of self or others
- Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction.
