Systems Analyst (Red Hat/VMware) needed for a contract to permanent opportunity with Yoh's client located at Scott AFB in Mascoutah, IL.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Responsible for successful execution and completion of one or more projects Interfaces with the customer concerning technical and operational issues, preparing Plan of Actions and Milestones (POAMs) and status reports, contractual clarifications and proper supervision and accounting of all project personnel. May lead a team of consultants on a project
- Provide oversight/review of technical implementations of solutions, to include validation of time estimates, technical feasibility, and maintenance overhead.
- Interpret customer requirements/requests into discrete requirements capable of measurement for tracking of project progress.
- Coordinate with personnel across multiple technical domains and government divisions to ensure solutions are not protracted in their implementation.

What You Bring to the Table:

- Ability to create and maintain PMO program architecture artifacts in Government approved format and analyze system architectures to recommended enhancements to improve system performance; assess acquisition solutions for conformity, fit options, and purpose to the assigned program's targeted architectural solution(s)
- Expert knowledge of sustainment/deployment/implementation approaches and ability to assess and recommended improvements to system availability and user experience
- Understanding of hardware and/or software (COTS/GOTS) to meet system specifications using recognized estimating approaches to support government cost estimates
- Possess skills to ensure all technical approaches/recommendations are in harmony with USTRANSCOM Enterprise System Engineering/Corporate Services vision
- Be able to identify technical risks within programs, services and other activities and offer options to reduce risk
- Be able to conduct Technical Reviews of development Contractor-produced deliverables
- Experienced in risk identification, analysis, mitigation and reporting.
- Interface with IT engineers to resolve program specific data quality issues as they occur.
- Secret Security Clearance. Travel if required.
- Technical Knowledge/Experience "Must haves"
- Five (5+) years of development experience
- Three (3+) years virtualization experience
- Three (3+) years Linux experience in a development or production environment
- Technical Knowledge/Experience "Nice to haves"
- Five (5+) years of agile development experience
- Five (5+) years of java development experience
- Knowledge of SOA (Service Oriented Architecture)
- Experience with CI (Continuous Integration)
- Experience specifically with VMware
- experience specifically with RHEL
- knowledge of RMF/DIACAP process
