Credit Analyst III - Full-time / Part-time

Local Bank is searching for a Credit Analyst III

Position requires a basic knowledge of financial statement analysis and basic knowledge of balance sheet and income statement construction and the ability to evaluate critically the current financial condition, profitability and cash flow and general trends of a business.

Ability to conceptualize and develop appropriate financial analysis models for more complex credits.

Underwrite commercial and consumer loans adhering to the Bank's policies and procedures. Ability to create and utilize complex Excel spreadsheets for use in the underwriting process.

Perform financial spread sheet analysis using specialized software with a high degree of accuracy making sure that assets/liabilities are properly classified and consistently spread. Exhibit highly developed sense of curiosity when reviewing financial statements, following analysis, the analyst should be able to explain cogently all significant assets/liabilities reflected on borrower's financial statement.

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Prepare credit memorandums for credit administration. Determine appropriate risk grade levels for loan portfolio.
