The Team Financial Advisor (TFA) role is a specificfunctional role aligned to a Financial Advisor (FA) team for the purpose ofconcentrating on a targeted aspect of the Team’s practice. The primary focus ofthe TFA Business Development role is to define the team’s client acquisitionplan, execute on the plan through client acquisition activities, and tracktowards the FA Team’s client acquisition goals.
KeyResponsibilities
Understand all aspects of an optimal practiceand complete the training and development needed to prepare for a successfulcareer as a Financial Advisor
Identify and establish target niche clientsegments and establish a strong reputation within those markets and the designationsto support the practice’s specialization
Maintain a well-developed and clear teammarketing plan that includes a well-defined value proposition designed toattract target client segment, and marketing materials that support thisstrategy
Ensure the team’s practice develops andmaintains a clear brand within the chosen market
Maintain a detailed client acquisition planthat keeps the practice engaged in consistent prospecting activities to meetspecific goals around activity levels and success
Establish client acquisition targets, developproposals, and track success toward these goals
Track and review progress on leadsproactively and regularly
Identify leads and referrals through specificmethods that work for your practice (e.g. sourcing and asking for personalintroductions, intimate events, strategic networking, referral alliances, targeted seminars)
Organize and execute the team’s clientacquisition plan; through hosting intimate events and/or targeted seminars,strategic networking, identifying and coordinating referral alliances, and/orsourcing and asking for personal introductions
Manage the client acquisition pipelineutilizing an identified pipeline management system, including profileinformation, next steps and timelines
Establish and maintain relationship with themanagement team and inform them of any circumstances that require supervisoryattention/review/approval per compliance guidelines and policies
Complete required training, obtain industrylicenses (Series 7 & 66), master assessments, maintain continuing educationrequirements and meet minimum performance standards
Source prospective clients, capitalize onreferrals and assess customer needs
Deliver highly customized solutions andthrough collaboration deliver the full resources of Bank of America Merrill Lynch
This position may be subject to SAFE Act registrationrequirements. Pursuant to the SAFE Act requirements, all employees engaged inresidential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registrysystem and remain in good standing. If your position requires SAFE Actregistration, you will be required to register and to submit to the requiredSAFE Act background check and registration process. Failure to obtain and/ormaintain SAFE Act registration may result in your immediate termination.

At minimum a Bachelors Degree
Demonstrated track record of success
Proficiency in using Sales Force / ClientRelationship Manager Tool
Strong understanding of the Financial Advisorrole
