We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Jr Mechanical Test Engineer.
Must be able to work various shifts per week.
Requirements
Description:
Seeking an entry level mechanical test engineer with an understanding of the principles of testing and developing consumer electronics products. Candidate must have knowledge of physical measurements, machine shop practices and a strong desire to learn and contribute to the team.
Minimum qualifications:
BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
Knowledge of mechanical measurements including force, torque and dimensional verification
Ability to statistically analyze large data sets
Proficiency with standard mechanical measurement devices
Experience using solid modeling programs (Creo/ProE/SolidWorks)
Strong oral and written communication skills
Desired skills:
Test fixture design and adaptation
Experience using standard machine shop equipment
Willingness to learn and perform all functions of lab activities
Knowledge of electro-mechanical components (switches, encoders, connectors, etc.)
Experience using LabView
Location: Redmond, WA 98052
Duration: 18 month contract
