Job Summary:
The Senior Global Project Manager is responsible for supporting the company’s key strategic technology initiatives. This role’s focus will ensure the successful delivery of global technologies using best practice project management approaches. This individual will establish strong partnerships with regional IT project managers and global technology engineers. The incumbent will manage multiple large projects and/or programs from initiation through closure.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in building business cases and facilitate the Build vs. Buy decision-making process
• Submit new project requests and business cases into the Global PMO
• Present business cases and charters at executive council meetings
• Facilitate kickoff and planning sessions to verify project goals and determine key components of the project plan
• Work with Brink’s procurement and Brink’s legal to procure solutions and services from third-party vendors
• Lead teams through the project planning process to determine risks, assumptions, constraints, activities, dependencies, resource assignments, schedules, estimates, and communication plan
• Prepare standard project documentation such as project charters, project plans, Activity Network Diagrams (AND), Critical Path Summary (CPM), project schedules, project change requests, status reports, issues logs, etc.
• Manage strategic, global programs encompassing multiple sub-projects with budgets ranging from $5M-$20M using the PMI-PMBoK or OGC-Prince2 project management methodology
• Manage, monitor and control project scope, schedule, critical success factors and budget
• Monitor and implement corrective or preventative measures to maintain positive project performance
• Document lessons learned, prepare project archive and close vendor contracts
• Contribute to the Brink’s Global Project Management process definition while coaching and training on industry project management best practices
• Perform other duties as assigned

Position Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum of 7 years leading IT project management experience implementing software applications and infrastructure technology projects with standard project life cycle methodologies
• Minimum of 3 years experience in MS Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience leading technology projects where budget exceeded $500K and the project team exceeded 20 members
• PMP certification
• Current Passport
Preferred Qualifications:
• ITIL or Agile SCRUMMASTER certification
• Experience working with Project Management software, especially with Project Server 2010.
• Experience relating to people at all levels of the organization
• Experience managing project team resources in a matrix environment
• Experience working with cross-functional, cross-cultural and virtual teams
• Experience in the Security, Logistics or Financial Services industries, and/or consulting
• Multi-lingual skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Management of Information Systems (MIS) or Computer Science

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills
• Exceptional organizational skills, goal orientation and self discipline with the desire and ability to multi-task and lead cross-functional teams to success
