SHIFT: 12HOUR, Day EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full Time HRS PER PAY PERIOD: 72 JOB ID: 1500008211
In keeping with Dignity Health corevalues, the Assistant Nurse Manager manages quality patient care through thenursing process, coordinates the plan of care with the health care team andassumes a visible leadership role in the unit.
Position Responsibilities:
Facilitate a work environment that values professional nursing practice, support autonomy, encourages collaborative relationships and promotes communications up and down the corporate chain of command.
Oversee the completion of unit competency assessments, annual safety reviews, CPR license renewals, and maintaining continuing education as required by hospital policy
May be assigned other duties of an administrative nature, including rotating in the role as the Administrative Supervisor
Qualifications:
California Registered Nursing License
Current CPR and ACLS certifications
Demonstrated leadership skills
At least one (1) year of leadership experience preferred
Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Bachelor’s degree in related field strongly preferred
