As part of Wells Fargo there is an exciting opportunity to expand and maintain strong relationships with our local bank partners and other Wells Fargo businesses to include insurance products in our strategy to help our customers succeed financially. General Insurance Brokerage Manager duties:

Responsible for career planning with producers, and identifying product and program development opportunities for the office(s). Ensure that the office(s) professional talent is sufficient in quantity and quality to meet or exceed business plan targets. Develop strong internal department leadership, through the selection, coaching, and performance management of the local leadership team. Through team leaders, ensure a high level of morale, productivity, and functionality throughout the enterprise. Align individual and team performance objectives with the goals of the office(s). Ensure that the vision and objectives of the organization are clearly communicated throughout the team. Foster a cohesive, positive office culture.

Foster inter-office and inter-regional cooperation with a seamless, customer-centric attitude.

Establish senior level relationships with Wells Fargo bank leaders, key insurance -carrier partners and local community at large. Maintain an active posture and leadership role in the local marketplace with regard to the identification and acquisition of sales talent, professional talent, and agency acquisition prospects.

Meet all operational requirements for internal compliance, business continuity, and regulatory compliance. Ensure full deployment and use of technology resources for the office(s). Achieve budgeted objectives for new business, client retention, overall revenue growth, and office(s) profitability. Responsible for the P&L performance and the attainment of targeted financial objectives of the office(s). Accurately forecast future results and trends. Develop and monitor a long term plan for the office(s) that incorporates revenue growth expectations, customer segmentation, industry specialization, technical capabilities, and geographical expansion. May directly produce new business and/or maintain certain key customer relationships.

8+ years insurance and/or financial services experience and 5+ years management experience. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a mid-sized branch or office; demonstrated business development results to include effective implementation of defined objectives and execution of business development strategy. Insurance license for designated insurance line required within 6 months of hire, considering state law restrictions. Microsoft Office Suite experience required.
