Construction Inspector - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is looking for an Field Technician to support projects in their Geotechnical field group. They are looking for someone with at least 1 year of experience with testing soil/concrete/asphalt on sites. Most of their projects will be private (grocery stores, private developments), however may also be working on limited ODOT projects as well.

MUSTS
- 2 years of experience testing materials preferably for a geotechnical consultant in Columbus (soil/concrete/asphalt)
- Experience using a soil density meter for soil testing.
- Candidates MUST have an ACI certification in order to sample concrete.

-Will be required to go on client site as a third party and test construction materials to make sure the are good quality. Will spend the first week or two in training until they get out on their own. Once the material is tested, they will be responsible for logging the data and keeping detailed records of each sample for the client.

-Hard Hat, Safety glasses and steel toed boots required while on sites.
