Job Summary:
Under the direction of a licensed nurse, participates in the pt/family care and experience through teamwork, effective communication, and basic care skills.
Job Responsibilities:
Quality- Provides optimal care to patients/family per facility standards to achieve best possible outcomes. Service-Cares for patient/family according to the Sutter Difference standards and activities ensuring the best patient/family experience. Growth- Follows patient/family plan of care throughout hospitalization to achieve optimal transition and progression toward discharge for patient/family. People-Participates as a member of the health care team in a professional manner according to the Standards of Excellence promoting a positive work environment. Finance- Utilizes resources to deliver quality care in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner. Community- Promotes a positive relationship between Sutter Health and the community.
Education:
High school diploma, GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Required Experience:
Certification of successful completion of a nurses assistant training program.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
BLS-HCP
Complexity of Work:
Under the direction of RN/LVN, manages multiple demands in an ever-changing environment.
Knowledge:
Must have demonstrated knowledge of effective English written and communication skills and basic computer proficiency skills.

This position has access to protected health information. The protected health information this position can access is all medical record information. This position requires this patient health information in order to perform the functions outlined as part of this position description.
