Sodexo Magic is seeking a Food Operations Manager 3 for the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. This is an excellent opportunity to lead in an environment that supports innovation, strategic thinking, collaboration, and inspiration. Magic Kingdom is comprised of 4 separate units including a full service Cafe, a Grab and Grill, and 2 C-Stores. This position will supervise 75 employees. The Operations Manager will report to the General Manager of the account. Walt Disney World Cast Dining Operation is open 365 days a year. We are looking for a manager who is detail oriented, outgoing, accountable, responsible, and customer service driven!!!
The best qualified candidate will have the following:
*At least 5 years of food service experience in a Management role as a General Manager, Retail Manager, Operations Manager, or Assistant Operations Manager
*Strong financial acumen with payroll, budget, P&L, food and labor cost
*Experience with Food Safety Policies & knowledgeable of Sodexo programs
*Exceptional customer service skills and strong communication skills
*Experience managing, developing and training staff and managers
*Willingness to work a flexible schedule to include holidays and weekends.
*Ability to be bilingual in Spanish and English.
Position Summary
Assumes General Manager’s (GM) responsibilities and authority in his/her absence in complex multi-functional accounts. Has direct client contact on day-to-day issues. Develops and Implements plans under the direction of a GM 5 or higher. Manages through managers. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Responsible for financial/HR functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 4 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
