Job Summary :
The person hired for the position of Quality Assurance Engineer will be joining a new QA department of 3M Health Information systems and have the opportunity to help build and develop new processes that will be implemented company wide.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Responsible for implementing automated integration tests
- Responsible for assigned aspects of 360 Encompass application testing: create, execute and report on test plans. Perform functional, system integration, performance, load, scalability and performance testing
- Create, prioritize and execute both manual and automated test cases
- Participate in design sessions to influence design based on testability
- Estimate planned work, identify risks, and participate in project planning and status meetings
- Reproduce and verify reported issues
- Other duties as assigned or needed
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree or higher from an accredited university
- Minimum of one (1) year writing test automation and/or computer programing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science or other programming degree
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Experience with test automation tools/languages (Javascript, VB, Selenium, PHP)
- Experience with HL7 messages
- Experience with web applications and services
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated initiative to complete automation projects
Location: Murray, UT
Travel: May include up to 10% domestic travel
Relocation: Is not authorized
