We are a Trade Show company located in Denver, Colorado. We are currently seeking a full-time staff accounting employee.
Position Overview:
- Perform all accounts payable and receivable functions using QuickBooks Online, including journal entries for two companies set of QuickBooks.
- Accurately establish and maintain vendors and their files.
- Communicate with vendors and customers by email and over the phone.
- Financial and cash flow analysis.
- Job costing.
- Commission tracking.
- Calculate, reconcile and distribute payroll for approximately 20 employees weekly.
- Maintain individual payroll and employee records and complete employment verification requests.
- Distribute, review and file new employee on-board information.
- Prepare, analyze, and reconcile general ledger accounts and financial statements.
- Track and record sales tax payments and file monthly, quarterly and yearly sales tax returns.
- Maintain confidentiality of employees and company information.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred.
3 year's experience with QuickBooks Online
2 years previous payroll experience.
Accurate data entry and working with numbers.
Clear oral and written communication skills.
Attention to even the smallest detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Proficient with Window 8.
Work well with other employees.
Able to take direction and apply it to the job.
