Please visit our website to learn more about us at www.towerlabs.com. We are currently seeking an experienced, highly driven Shift Supervisor to join our growing Montague, MI facility. Our production operation is expanding and prospects for additional growth are excellent. This is a great opportunity for the career minded individual in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for directing and managing the overall activities involved in the manufacturing of our effervescent products in our Montague facility. Ensure that production requirements are achieved and operational efficiency is optimized and fully integrated with Tower Laboratories' business objectives. Heavy emphasis on promoting and ensuring cGMP compliance in all operational activities. Reporting to this position are Production Supervisors who supervise approximately 25 employees on each shift. RESPONSIBILITIES: *Direct, manage and coach the responsibilities and duties of manufacturing personnel in the production of our products to achieve business goals. *Provide leadership in process improvement efforts; work with interdepartmental staff to improve procedures,evaluate equipment, budget and capital expenditures and/or training needs. *Analyze operational efficiency and scrap rates and collaborate with engineers and maintenance personnel to develop creative solutions to optimize output. *Ensure all activities comply with cGMP; promote the importance of cGMP with all personnel. *Review, approve and enforce Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). *Schedule & Monitor training, goals and development of manufacturing personnel to meet business goals. *Develop staffing plans to optimize production schedule and ensure company goals are met in the most efficient manner. *Provide leadership with regard to safety within the plant. Ensure appropriate training and direction is provided to maintain a safe work environment. QUALIFICATIONS: *Strong understanding of FDA regulations and cGMPs. *Effective communication skills with all levels of plant personnel *Demonstrated ability to lead and work successfully as a team *Ability to integrate strategic objectives into daily operational functions. *High regard for producing a quality product *High level of integrity and ethics This position will start as a Temp to Hire. Pay will depend on experience.
