SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: The Business & Legal Affairs Intern will assist the attorneys and other professional in the Department on various matters.

• Researching applicable law and preparing memoranda re same.

• Assisting attorneys with structuring and negotiating programming acquisitions.

• Preparation of drafts of deal memos and other correspondence.

• Evaluation of copyright, trademark and other intellectual property issues.

• Assisting with overseeing in-house productions; reviewing of chain of title documentation; assisting with process of accepting pitches for new programming.

• Other responsibilities may be assigned and not all responsibilities listed may be assigned.

The intern can work up to 40 hours per week. Qualifications/Requirements BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to work the duration of Program (10 weeks) - June 8th-August 14th.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

• Must be willing to work in Hialeah.

• Must be willing to submit to a background investigation.

• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.

• Must be 18 years or older.

• Must be fluent in English and proficient in Spanish (speak, read & write).

• Strong writing and oral communication skills; excellent credentials and solid references; strong interpersonal skills; teamwork oriented attitude.
