Senior Technical Program Manager - Full-time / Part-time

Experis is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager for a 6+ month contract with one of their clients in Chicago, IL!

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 10+ years of program/project management experience overseeing application development projects
Application release/deployment experience is required
Healthcare and/or Insurance industry experience is preferred
PMP certification is a plus
Ability to navigate a DB2, Oracle, SQL, and Java environment (coding ability not required) is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for leading multiple technical teams responsible for the overall coordination, reporting and integration within the scope of an IT application environment
Project leadership experience required with strong analytical abilities and familiarity with business processes
Plans and directs highly technical projects, involving all aspects of information resources management with emphasis on software development
This resource will direct completion of tasks within estimated timeframes and budget constraints
Schedules and assigns duties to subordinates
Develops and implements standard process management methodologies for the IT and Business community to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards, meet customer expectations and add value
Mentors and trains less senior Leads
Institutionalizes standardized processes and procedures and helps other IT staff members and business customers to understand the benefits of using Association-wide standards
Identifies and prioritizes opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of the enterprise
Delivers Technical Build Plans, Project Budgets, Issues/Risks, and Status Reports
