Restoration Laborer
Midwest Labor is currently hiring full-time fire restoration laborers for a valued client based out of Appleton. As a fire restoration laborer, you will be performing various demolition/cleaning responsibilities. No previous experience is required, training will be provided. Qualified applicants must have availability to work weekdays, with availability on weekends, be able to lift up to 50lbs, and stand for up to 10 hours daily. Essential Duties:
* Install dust and floor protection for demolition
* Remove damaged material from facility (drywall, flooring, insulation, etc.)
* Clean up debris
* Use basic tools for water removal; squeegee, mop and bucket, portable extractor
* Perform general cleaning
* Clean and maintain restoration equipment
* Scrape/clean smoke and fire damaged framing
* Scrape/clean mold damaged framing
* Preform final cleaning
Requirements:
* This position requires the ability to bend, twist, reach, and stand for long periods at a time.
* Demonstrated ability to be detailed, safety and quality oriented.
* Proven strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Demonstrated track record of dependability, initiative and positive attitude toward co-workers.
* Availability to work consistent overtime, including weekends.
* Ability to lift up to 50lbs
