What does a Best Buy Home Delivery Driver do?

Best Buy Home Delivery Drivers deliver and install products to customers’ homes in areas not serviced by a Best Buy distribution warehouse. They follow established schedules and procedures for home delivery of major appliances, TVs and other large consumer electronic products. As a delivery driver for Best Buy, you will provide customers with a level of service that ensures no customer is ever left unserved or underserved. You will create a customer experience that builds a lasting relationship and ensures Best Buy continues to be a brand of choice.
40% of your time you will:
Engages with customer to determine the best way to bring product into the home, checks for proper connections for the product, moves product into the home, completes delivery paperwork, removes old product for haul-away, and installs new product (when applicable)
25% of your time you will:
Reviews daily delivery route for effectiveness, prepares manifests, inspects trucks for proper operation, prepares and inspects products on truck to ensure correct loading processes are followed.
20% of your time you will:
Partners with supervisor and Driver Trainer to coach and train store on company processes related to self-delivery and DOT regulations 15% of your time you will:

Basic Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 21 years of age or more
- Valid driver's license in the state where you are applying and a clear driving record
- Lift or maneuver 75 lb. with or without reasonable accommodation and team lift up to 150 lb.
