Financial Analyst, Media Sales
The Time Warner Cable Media office currently seeks a Financial Analyst for our Media Sales Finance Department. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
REPORTS TO:
Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis
GENERAL OVERVIEW:
A media services group that provides buying and planning services for its clients.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBLITIES:
·Responsible for Weekly Sales Reporting
·Responsible for Monthly Key Performance Indicator
·Responsible for monthly P&L review, analysis, research and fluctuation explanation to management and corporate senior management in regards to revenue and expenses relevant to our business
·Assist in monthly commission process including the preparation of individual statements for commission based employees
·Assist in the management of headcount and compensation analysis
Reporting:
· Assist in preparation of Monthly Outlook and Annual Budget with supporting schedules and analysis
·Creation and analysis of P&L schedules that support Outlook and Budget models
Quarterly Analytics:
·Assist with Budget Planning
·Ad hoc reporting as requested
·Enforce and adhere to company policies and procedures including Corporate guidelines and best practices.
·Assist with internal and external audits
·Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley regulations
QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires 2-5 years of analytical experience. Must have strong computing skills, including Excel and Access functions. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Requires a self-starter requiring little supervision. Strong attention to detail is needed. People soft & Hyperion experience a plus.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
·1-3 years of related experience
·Bachelor ' s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education and experience.
