Job overview
Concierge is responsible for providing information to guests about hotel services, features and room amenities.
What you will be doing
- Be responsible for: following up on inquiries; coordinating requests for special arrangements; escorting VIP's to their assigned guest rooms; and interacting with all guests in a courteous and efficient manner
- Creating arrival experience through greeting guests at the hotel entrance and assisting with service at the Valet podium
- Making arrangements for guests by contacting vendors
- Guest and vendor correspondence
- Lobby maintenance refilling water station, pamphlets, maps
- Service training
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public and associates.
- Read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Ability to operate computer systems as required within the hotel.
- Meet minimum age requirements of jurisdiction.
- Minimum of one year experience in a related position.
- A strong knowledge of the local area to assist guests with their inquiries is an essential requirement of this position.
