Job overview

Concierge is responsible for providing information to guests about hotel services, features and room amenities.

What you will be doing

• Be responsible for: following up on inquiries; coordinating requests for special arrangements; escorting VIP's to their assigned guest rooms; and interacting with all guests in a courteous and efficient manner
• Creating arrival experience through greeting guests at the hotel entrance and assisting with service at the Valet podium
• Making arrangements for guests by contacting vendors
• Guest and vendor correspondence
• Lobby maintenance refilling water station, pamphlets, maps
• Service training

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and associates.
• Read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Ability to operate computer systems as required within the hotel.
• Meet minimum age requirements of jurisdiction.
• Minimum of one year experience in a related position.
•  A strong knowledge of the local area to assist guests with their inquiries is an essential requirement of this position.
