Primary Responsibilities:




  • Gather and analyze business requirements



  • Architect/Design Data Warehouse infrastructure and solutions



  • Develop technical specifications and design documents



  • Develop, enhance, integrate Data Warehouses/Data Marts and Business Intelligence Solutions



  • Test Data Warehouses/Data Marts



  • Deploy and Maintain Data Warehouses/Data Marts



  • Data analyst role responsible for working in conjunction with business analysts to develop, test and implement new production audit opportunities and trends



  • Focus on driving productivity and quality of rule outputs to allow identification staff to achieve and exceed monthly goals



  • Analyze the client's data files for quality, quantity, and accuracy



  • Use of SQL skills to identify data anomalies that may impact our rules and claim processes



  • Develop, collect and analyze metrics and data to formulate fact-based decisions and proactively implement process improvements



  • Use metrics, excellent time management skills and leadership skills to ensure business objectives and goals are met



  • Designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value



  • Developing pioneering approaches to emerging industry trends



  • Contribute to development team and help to achieve key business objectives



  • Contribute to large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives



  • Collaborate with the team on application architecture design and decision-making



  • Design and implement application enhancements in collaboration with different teams



  • Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business



  • Translates highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences



  • Ability to organize and execute multiple re-occurring and one-off tasks and projects at one time



  • Experience with troubleshooting and problem solving with an analytical mindset

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years equivalent experience

  • 2+ years of experience SQL with the ability to write complex SQL with experience in relational databases

  • Understanding of distributed technologies and architecture

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Access

  • Experience with VB.Net, C#, or other object oriented programming

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Healthcare knowledge and experience

  • MS SQL Server Management Studio experience
