Premier Parking is currently seeking a dedicated, organized, and detailed full-time or part-time Parking Attendants and Auditors. Applicants must possess excellent customer service skills, ability to adapt and multi-task. Opportunities for growth within the organization and an excellent work environment. Day time and evening shifts available, weekend shifts, both fixed and flexible scheduling.

Summary: Responsible for ensuring parking patrons have paid for parking and to issue parking citations accordingly. Responsible for greeting and providing high quality parking services to the public. Provides general information and assistance to the public. Must have excellent customer service skills and work well with customers. Job duties may include exposure to inclement weather.

Duties and Responsibilities:

*Monitor parking meters and lots for vehicles in violation of parking ordinances and issue citations for vehicles in violation in accordance to policies and procedures.
*Checks assigned areas for damaged, missing, or malfunctioning equipment pertaining to parking function, and reports any problems to management
*Directs vehicles to proper parking areas and enforces parking restrictions for special events
*Accurately key in vehicle license plates and other vehicle information and violation information using hand held ticket issuance system.
*Greet parking patrons with friendly and positive attitude.
*Communicate with the public and at times encounters potentially stressful situations including argumentative and frustrated individuals.
*Assist parking patrons with any issues encountered during their parking experience.
*Monitor parking lot activities at all times to ensure proper security, and report any problems to management immediately.
*Report any accidents, observed or suspected violation of company policy, safety hazards, or anything unusual surrounding the parking facility to their immediate supervisor or manager.
*Have knowledge or willingness to learn surrounding streets, landmarks, freeways, or any other helpful information to be able to provide to guest whenever needed.
*Review stall reports for pertinent information, and issue parking violations as applicable.
*Contacts Premier Parking's immobilization vendor if he/she locates a vehicle with multiple citations.
*Knows the policies and procedures of each property he/she audits to ensure that no ticket is issued without cause.
*Directs any and all violation disputes to the customer service department.
*Possesses a sense of urgency and timeliness.
*Perform daily cleaning duties, such as cleaning various parking equipment, sweeping drive lanes & picking up trash in assigned locations
*Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Job Functions:

*Works in inclement weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, wind, etc.).
*While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for extensive periods of time.
*The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 10lbs as needed.
*Must have the ability to use or willingness to learn how to use parking hand held devices and computers.
*Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift continuously throughout a shift.

Qualifications:

*High School Diploma or Equivalent
*Authorized to work in the U.S.
*Strong Customer Service Skills
*Knowledge of downtown Nashville directional information preferred
