Description

Maintenance Electrician - 3rd shift

Will troubleshoot and program PLC’s (A/B Control Logix preferred), knowledge of electrical controls, HMI’s, VFD’s, servo’s and ability to read electrical blue prints and schematics.

Will work in our production facility in Vernon, CA.

The starting pay rate is $19.79 per hour.

Hours are approximately 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday through Thursday night.

Position Responsibilities

  • Will troubleshoot and program PLC’s (A/B Control Logix preferred), knowledge of electrical controls, HMI’s, VFD’s, servo’s and ability to read electrical blue prints and schematics
  • Mechanically troubleshoot all equipment problems such as hydraulics, pneumatics and machinery and offer both short term and long term solutions.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Overhaul, rebuild existing and install new equipment and components
  • Help the team with line equipment changeovers
  • Perform equipment audits and visual inspections periodically
  • Complete work orders as assigned
  • Respond to the production calls where needed
  • Maintain clean and safe work area
  • Flexible work schedule and overtime as necessary

    Qualifications

    Qualifications
  • 3 years of industrial maintenance experience required
  • 1 year previous experience with high speed bottling, canning or packaging equipment or similar industry
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Provide and maintain personal basic hand tools as required by the job
