This is an award-winning community with 140 Residents in; Assisted Living, Respite Care, Skilled Nursing and Sub-Acute Rehabilitation on a beautiful 15-acre New Jersey campus. Position manages food production and service, trains and develops employees, assists with food and labor budgets, monitors food safety and sanitation for regulatory compliance, and works with the General Manager; creating amazing Resident Dining Experience!.
Ideal Candidate Skills/Certifications:
Some College / Trade School Certificate, a Servsafe Certificate
Experience in Healthcare / Skilled Care
Financial skills for 200K in annual volume
Skills to hire, coach, and develop 20 employees
Working knowledge of HACCP and kitchen safety programs
Hands on catering and food production experience
Computer skills to work in food and labor management systems
Experience with Customer Service Program Enhancements
Experience with Dept of Health Audits and Contract Management

Responsible for managing multi-functional food service areas in a single unit. May assume General Manager's (GM) responsibilities and authority in his/her absence. Assists in maintenance of cash control and payroll records. Assists in supporting the financial/Human Resources (HR) functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
