Abbot Downing provides a distinct and focused client experience for the ultra-high net worth individuals and families with substantial assets typically defined as those with complex estate structures, advanced planning requirements and investable assets of $50 million. It has offices in 6 regions, a long operating history, and serves over 600 families. Teams are staffed with professionals experienced in all aspects of wealth management services including Asset Management, Planning and Family Dynamics, Private Banking and Trust, Fiduciary and Administrative Services.
Duties include: compiling and routing information received from external hedge and private capital fund managers. Preparing routine reports and archival of client alternative fund data. Works with external fund managers to obtain client data. Assists team members w/ copying, scanning, mailing & messenger services. Using software to compose correspondence; compiling information and preparing routine reports/spreadsheets, answering routine questions regarding departmental policies and procedures. May work closely w/ internal and/or external customers to meet their service needs. May be responsible for providing support to the business line staff in the areas of reporting, customer/business documentation, and service goals. May perform special projects as requested.
1+ years clerical experience in an office setting. 3+ years of previous senior administrative assistant experience.
Demonstrated advanced skills in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, Adobe and SharePoint.
Experience with managing and tracking large amounts of client data.
Experience implementing and monitoring compliance and control processes
Previous experience handling multiple priorities, people and locations across multiple times zones.
Proven ability to work with minimal direction, proactive approach and a self-starter.
Demonstrated exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Proven high level of organizational skills.
Financial Services industry experience.
Ad-hoc reporting experience using Crystal Reports for SQL Server database
Knowledge of the Wealth Management line of business including prior experience with HNW or UHNW clients.
College Degree.
