The CLG team includes Home Lending, Consumer Credit Card, Personal Loans and Lines, Direct Auto, Dealer Services, Commercial Auto, Retail Services and Education Financial Services including the professional services teams that partner with these businesses - Human Resources, Finance, Credit Risk, and Compliance & Operational Risk.

Our Consumer Credit Solutions (CCS) Unsecured Credit Risk t eam manages the credit quality of the unsecured CCS portfolios, partnering with Consumer Financial Services, Education Financial Services and Retail Services from origination through account management and authorizations to collections.

Responsible for performing the most complex activities related to business analysis and/or modeling.

Duties may include:

- Allowance, loan loss forecasting, data aggregation, monitoring and reporting of credit risk data, credit stress testing and portfolio analysis and/or modeling that maximizes profits and/or asset growth and minimizes credit and/or operating losses and other risk exposures.

- Provides analytical support on wholesale and/or retail credit, operating losses and other product strategies to ensure company goals are met.

- Segmenting and monitoring various credit, deposit or other product groups, vintages, concentration limits, risk ratings, etc., and making recommendations to management based on those trends.

- Producing performance monitoring and benchmarks regarding growth, mix, delinquency, losses and overall profitability and performance.

- Coordinating and consolidating the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports for senior management.

- Reviewing and analyzing trends in current population distributions and recommending strategies.

- May develop complex programming models to extract data and/or manipulate databases to provide statistical and financial modeling specific to business(es) supported.

- May partner with cross enterprise risk analysts in development of common modeling strategies.

- May provide work direction to lower level analyst/consultants.

- May manage the roll-out of pilot programs developed as a result of programmed models for supported business or product line.

- May manage large scale cross functional/cross business unit projects and regulatory responses.

- May be responsible for process production, data reconciliation and model documentation in alignment with policy governance.

7+ years risk reporting or analytics experience. Programming Skills:

- 7+ years prior experience programming in SAS, SQL, or similar programming language, with a deep understanding of enterprise systems and large relational databases.

- 5+ years prior experience working in an enterprise environment as a provider of automated reporting solutions.

- 3+ years prior experience with data aggregation, modeling and mining.

- Established systems background experience with effective exposure to Oracle, Teradata, SQL, UNIX, or similar environments.

- Skilled in performing data quality checks in methodical manner and accurately utilizing data and interpreting results.

- Skilled in understanding and rewriting code optimizing efficiency output with little or no provided documentation or code structure.

- Demonstrated experience contributing to, creating and implementing enterprise projects.

Project Management Skills:

- 5+ years prior experience with developing, testing and implementing data request projects and suggesting request enhancements.

- Skilled in all aspects of project management, including definition of project scope, goals and deliverables in addition to reporting of project status to management and stakeholders.

- Established skills in prioritizing, refining scope or methodology, and communicating results with the project team or clients.

- Demonstrated leadership experience and mentoring skills.

- Must demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and prioritization ability.

- Must have exceptional interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a collaborative working environment.

- Must be able to concisely communicate performance results, performance updates and key initiatives to senior risk management personnel.
