Role and Responsibilities
This position functions as the interface resource for Midas solutions for all client integration needs including new interfaces, modifications to existing interfaces and interface conversions. For new logo clients, this position serves as a key member of the project implementation team.
Develop inbound and outbound interfaces between Midas software solutions and a variety of Hospital Information Systems
Conduct project overview presentations to Midas implementing clients
Collaborate with Project Management staff to ensure technical tasks meet project timelines
Initiate and conduct weekly meetings with clients to advance integration projects
Consult with clients on Midas system configurations and technical functionality
Coordinate connectivity and configuration of remote-hosted servers with the Midas software
Perform data loads (flat files) for setting data into interface and data tables
Facilitate interface integration and data validation testing
Run data validation reports/analysis to ensure integration completeness
Troubleshoot and support client issues as they pertain to interfacing and data tables
Peer review interface design
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer related field required. Minimum of three years’ experience writing interfaces or ability to demonstrate programming expertise. A combination of experience and certifications may be substituted for the degree.
Required Skills
Knowledge of computer programming
Knowledge of InterSystems Cache database
Knowledge of InterSystems Cache Basic/ObjectScript programming languages, HL7 and/or XML
Knowledge of general networking concepts, e-mail, backup solutions & virus scanning software
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with customers, co-workers and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner
Knowledge of effective customer relations
Computer literacy
Organization and time management skills
Management of multiple tasks
Ability to function effectively on a work team
Skilled at organization and time management
Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and function in a complex and evolving environment
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
