To follow the Company's Common Purpose of "Together, We improve people's everyday lives and well-being." This will be done by providing guidance and leadership to the Front End team in various ways in an effort to help them develop highly effective customer service skills.

Requirements

  • Provide products and service that meet the requirements of internal and external customers at all times, and abide by the Company's Common Purpose "Together, we improve people's everyday lives and well-being."
  • Give direction and work assignments to Front End team members to ensure efficient operation of the business.
  • Monitor and audit cash control procedures for cash registers, self checkout registers, and change tills. Assign cashiers to lanes in a manner adhering to company policy.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory by ordering products such as gum, candy, cigarettes, newspapers and store supplies such as paper and plastic bags, cleaning products, etc.
  • Maintain accurate reports and follow procedures for achieving Q2 goals to enhance our customers' service experience. Monitor the EXCEPTion program for questionable cashier practices and address concerns directly with cashiers.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the work area and facility by following the 3 Simple Steps to Safety- You See It, You Own It; Respect The Risk; and Step Up and Speak Out.
  • Respond timely to team member requests for assistance as well as answer questions and provide guidance to Front End staff in an effort to develop an effective team.
