Enrollment Specialist

IV. RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Process incoming subscriber additions, terminations and changes accurately and within the given time frames in enrollment & billing system as well as all relevant insurance carrier systems.
2. Ensure that all applications are entered consistent with carrier performance standards regarding quality and timeliness, as well as internal performance standards.
3. Research and accurately process any necessary retroactive adjustments in the system and all relevant insurance carrier systems.
4. Communicate effectively and interact well with personnel in all other departments.
5. Ensure that all written correspondence sent to carriers is accurate and professionally presented.
6. Maintain knowledge of internal billing & enrollment procedures and computer systems, as well as all relevant carrier billing & enrollment procedures and systems.
7. Maintain a good working relationship with enrollment & billing staff insurance carriers.
