PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Answer and forward calls through console switchboard as well as greet visitors to company office.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

1. Responsible for answering 10-line phone system. Direct all calls to the right person and take messages when needed.

2. Greet and direct visitors as needed. Call the person they wish to see and follow their directions about sending them to their office or not.

3. Receive packages, letters, etc., as required. Sign for parcels when necessary.

4. Responsible for keying all accounts payable (A/P) code sheets.

5. Match A/P checks each week.

6. Responsible for keying all unit sheets on weekly basis and must be in by Tuesday each week.

7. Write receipts for cash that comes in.

8. Perform additional duties as required.


SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Educational and experience requirements include: office organizational skills, good grammar and pleasant phone voice. Ability to enter data with accuracy and speed is essential.

COMMENTS:

Entry level position. On-the-job training provided except in typing.
