Calling all General Managers with a strong culinary background!!! Exciting General Manager/Chef Manager opportunity within Corporate Services in Louisa, VA (near Charlottesville, VA)!! The General Manager/Chef Manager will oversee our corporate cafe and catering at this account. Our client enjoys both comfort food and some high end offerings. This position will have total financial accountability for the account. Strong financial acumen is required. The GM/Chef Manager will walk the floor daily, answering questions and building a relationship with our customers. Excellent customer service and client relations skills are a must!!!

Position Summary

Senior-most person assigned to a one client account. Supervises cooks and oversees the preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of food. Estimates food consumption and purchases food. May assist in cooking and preparing food as necessary. Responsible for maintaining kitchen and storage facilities in sanitary condition. Responsible for cash management. Interacts with client/customers on a regular basis. Hires and trains unit personnel. This is a single incumbent position for a small account where there is no Chef. Reports to District Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree

Basic Management Experience - 1 year

Basic Functional Experience - 2 years
