Our Default Servicing team engages, understands and advises consumer real estate customers of available solutions to resolve mortgage delinquencies.

This position is part of the Community Housing team to help support our corporate outreach initiatives as well as helping lead the teams that attends foreclosure prevention workshops. Responsible for supervising underwriters engaged in approving loan applications.

- Planning, organizing and directing staff in accomplishing business goals

- Loan restructuring and ensuring accurate evaluation of economic value of assets through subordinates' review of appraised valuation and market analysis on assets

- Ensuring adherence to policies and procedures for loan restructuring and rehabilitation

- Improving group performance; directing other managers as needed to accomplish goals

- Ensuring overall compliance with government regulations and company policies

- Travel may be up to 25%

Functions include:

- Managing units workflow to ensure that groups customer service standards are met and unit procedures are current and in compliance with government and Bank regulations

- Analyzing workflow policies/procedures and recommending changes as appropriate

- Maintaining appropriate records/documents under specified security control

- Creating and maintaining programs and reports

- Assisting in hiring, firing, setting performance standards, training, writing/conducting performance reviews

3+ years lending experience and 1+ years experience in a management or team leadership role. - Must achieve required delegation of authority level for this position within 90-120 days of hire- Level C

- Second Level Review experience

- Demonstrated Pipeline Management Skills

- Demonstrated understanding of the importance of compliance and adherence to business and regulatory policies

- Strong organization and follow up skills with proven ability to multi-task in order to effectively handle frequent demands caused by deadlines and heavy workloads

- Superior internal and external customer service skills, interpersonal and communication skills

- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with peers and other leaders on complex issues to improve workflow processes and efficiencies

- Demonstrated agility and flexibility adapting to changing environments and responsibilities

- Must be able to travel 25%

This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.

- The successful candidate will also work closely with business lines and support leadership across the enterprise in the execution of this strategy

- Develop partnerships with many business, functional areas, and external third parties

- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality impactful results

- Event management experience

- Current level of delegation B or higher

- FHA experience preferred

- 2+ years management/leadership of financial related experience
