About this job

Working as a Director, Sales Operations, you will be a key partner to the sales force and other cross functional groups. You will direct activities and recommend comprehensive objectives to achieve assigned current sales and revenue goals. You will also direct the development and implementation of programs for one or more product/service line(s). This does include product life cycle planning, tactical projects designed to achieve the next year's plans and operational dependencies to generate the sales of wireless products, services and applications. Major role of this director is to guide retail store innovation, including the point of sale.

Additional Responsibilities:

Direct implementation of sales support systems and company sales support programs

Use knowledge of Cricket no-contract products, services, support and technology to oversee sales operations activities and achieve company goals

Maintain relationship with field personnel to ensure timely, accurate, and well thought out retail solutions

Work with Sales and Finance Departments to develop and administer the company's worldwide sales forecast

Responsible for organizing financial modeling and statistical studies for sales department

May manage professional employees who are responsible for forecasting, financial modeling, and action plans related to margin assurance and cash management

Also includes design of processes and systems, management of audits, and frequent complex decision making to ensure accuracy, timeliness and consistency of multiple programs

Oversee the design, development and execution of future plans and programs and to ensure plan effectiveness

Education: Bachelors or Advanced degree preferred. Experience: Typically requires 10 or more years of experience and at least two years of management responsibility.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Five years’ experience in sales

Five or more years’ experience with technical projects (must understand IT technology concepts and user experience to manage retail store innovations

Ability to problem solve independently and through a team that may or may not report to you

Previous management success in leadership roles for achieving tactical goals

Strong negotiation and communication skills

Ability to prioritize projects, analyze and make decisions, and develop and implement quality improvement processes

This includes tactical sales operations, sales programs, sales communication projects and programs designed to achieve operational excellence to generate the sales of products, services and applications

Experience working with legal personnel to approve policies and procedures

Track record of leading complex business plans

Experience leading sales professionals

Knowledge of financial business modeling

Experience working with wireless sales operations

Experience with account and product launches

Desired Qualifications:

Six or more years’ experience managing teams

Experience with consumer retail wireless sales channels

Experience working with wireless sales operations
