Life Insurance Product Specialist

I am currently working with one of the largest life insurance companies in the downtown Chicago area. They are looking for a "top notch" product specialist to join their marketing team.

The primary responsibility of the Product Specialist is to provide product support to the marketing department and the field organization.

The role will combine sales, marketing and technical skills to help in the recommendation for design and promote products for our organization. The Product Specialist will be involved with a product's entire life cyclefrom conception to completionto ensure optimal sales results. They will be training the sales staff and field agents on all the products that the company provides to its customers.

The market research component will help management make decisions on new products and marketing opportunities.

Essential Responsibilities
* Provides product sales support to our field force
* Conducts training seminars for field organization on new and existing products
* Stays abreast of the competition, marketplace, and industry trends
* Ability to make recommendations based on data analysis, to help recommend product design, delivery and promotion
* Provides reports to management on new innovations in the area of market research, and helps create new ways to meet the needs of a changing marketplace
* Creation of presentations for company stakeholders

Qualifications:

*2 years of experience within life insurance setting

*Ability to speak upon different life insurance products/experience

*Bachelors degree preferred

*Presentation/training skills
*Proficient with Excel and Powerpoint
