Lab Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Currently hiring a lab techincian:

• Performs all laboratories testing as directed by the Quality Manager.
• Performing assays for food product ingredients including titrations, pH, HPLC techniques.
• Responsible for the recording and accuracy of all findings on the computer and the hand written records.
• Will be the backup contact for all incoming technical and customer questions to the department.
• Will interact with the QA Receiving Clerk to provide accurate and complete technical information and paperwork both within and outside the company.
• Will as a member of the QA Self-Inspection team to provide technical support as well as observations and recommendations to address any items that need improvement or correction.
• Will perform pre-operational inspections, calibrations, HACCP tests as directed by the Quality Manager to ensure food safety and food quality.
• Provide support to production during monthly inventory, training and daily operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory.
• Will advise the Quality Manager of any equipment and/or supply needs.
• Is responsible for the rotation and disposal of the retained samples.
• Will provide training as needed for new QA employees.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Time:

7am to 4pm

Payrate:

$15/hr
