Lab Analyst I - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek Scientific is currently seeking qualified candidates for an entry level lab technician position. This will be a first shift contract to hire opportunity. All candidates must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check.

Job Description:

- The Analyst I performs environmental analyses and/or preps of samples using standard analytical techniques in compliance with TestAmerica's Quality Assurance programs and SOP's.
- This is a contract to hire opportunity in the Radiochemistry department at TestAmerica.
- This is in the Count Lab.
- After the samples leave the prep room, they come over to the count room.
- The analyst is responsible for loafing samples onto the following instruments: GFPC, Gamma, Alpha, Liquid Simulators
- They will also perform duties such as filing and scanning data
- The sample load varies based on the day
- They log everything into a log book
- Will perform data review

Qualifications:

- Highschool education with good work history or AS or BS in science related area.
- Would prefer someone with a science background/degreed, but will also look at resumes for candidates that are detailed oriented and can handle a fast paced environment. .
